Hey friends! I hope everyone is having a great week so far! It’s been a little busy around our house lately. Between work, school, extracurriculars and side projects….well, you get the point, I haven’t had much time for anything extra. But I am super excited to be able to share with you some of the things that I’ve been up to lately.
As many of you may or may not know, one of my favorite hobbies is floral arranging and just playing with flowers and plants in general. It’s a stress reliever for me to just sit back and enjoy God’s beauty that He has given us here on earth. I am very blessed to be able to work with flowers often at my day job, but I also get the privilege of getting to do it for others on the side. Anytime someone asks me to do flowers or floral arrangements for them, I jump at the opportunity.
Well, over Easter, I had the privilege of doing some flowers for a sweet friend for her family Easter dinner. It was so much fun! Check out some of the pictures below.
This picture just screams “Spring” to me! The flowers and the sweet little bunny!
I added some yellow tulips in this one for the perfect pop of color!
This has to be one of my favorite floral arrangements that I’ve ever done! The rusticness (is that even a word?) of the box and the elegance of the flowers is just perfect! But, I have to be honest, it literally weighed about 50 lbs! Talk about a workout! But it was well worth it!
Here are a couple more that I just scattered around for some extra color.
And I just love this 10 tube bud vase on the mantle! It’s just perfect!
Again, I love flowers and I love sharing that passion with others! The funny thing is, I’ve always liked to play around with flowers, but never really knew I was actually good at it until more recently. It’s definitely something I’ve just kind of stumbled into, but I’m very grateful for that stumble! Sometimes the best things in life are found when we least expect them.
Also, I have some super exciting news coming very soon!!!!!!! This is a big one, so stay tuned!!!
