Hey everyone! Easter is just around the corner, so I thought it would be fun to give you some of my top 6 tips on setting an Easter tablescape.
I have so much fun coming up with different tablescapes, the options really are endless! So, let’s jump right in!
Bring the outside in! Include natural elements! What do I mean? I always start with fresh flowers and greenery and build from there! God has given us so many beautiful, natural colors all around us, so why not use them? For this particular project (because it’s Spring and Easter) I chose tulips, and not just any tulips, but pink tulips. They are so vibrant! I also picked up some small, white Wax flowers as an accent. They are hardy, and hold up for a while. Then, I always include lots of green stuff! I actually prefer green filler more than anything else, but for Spring, you must have flowers!
I chose to use Sand Dollar Eucalyptus (it’s actually a faux garland that I purchased from Hobby Lobby) and a couple of different variations of Seeded Eucalyptus (which are real). Eucalyptus stays fresh for a while and also brings a fresh scent along with it. Try to implement it in as many places as you can in the table setting. I usually stick something green and some type of flower into napkin rings too! I also chose to use white cotton napkins with a burlap trim in this setting because burlap just adds to the natural elements.
Use assorted vases! Use different shapes and sizes. It adds texture and complexity. Five different ones were used in this particular setting, and only two of them are the same (those are pictured below and were purchased from Magnolia Market). I am not a matchy-matchy person. I like to switch things up and add variety! It keeps life interesting!
Use Charger plates to make a statement! I love chargers. They add depth and dress up any table setting. I am in love with the chargers that I used here. They are a farmhouse white with added details around the edges and chipped paint (these were a find from Decor Steals). I use them through every season and table setting, and they go perfectly with absolutely everything!
Choose your plates! This is where you can really make it your own. You can use plates to add a pop of color, to implement family history through china or use some that best represent you. I love whites! I am a lover of all things white and simple through and through. I used my beautiful white china for my dinner plate and then for a small pop of color, I used some mismatched saucers that I have collected through my junkin’ adventures. They each have a small floral detail on them that adds to the spring vibe I’m trying to create.

Lighting!! I love love love candles and the light that they give off! To me, they give off light for a room that you could not achieve with anything else. I like to use lots of them. I used small votives throughout the center piece, and then included taper candles in the large candlesticks. So whether I decide to leave the chandelier (this beauty was purchased from Decor Steals) on or off, I still have the perfect amount of lighting.
Make it YOUR own! For Easter tablescape or normal ones, tablescapes can truly represent you as a person! Are you bright and cheery? Do you like bright colors? Do you like whites and neutrals? Trust yourself here! Be original! I love a mix of styles, so I put them all together! (I absolutely love my metal chairs from Amazon Best Choice Products Set of 4 Distressed Industrial Metal Dining Side Chairs (White)) Your decorating doesn’t have to be fancy or stressful, it just needs to feel inviting. Have fun with it! If you missed my post of my living room, check it out here!
